Football: San Pedro defeats Carson to improve to 8-0

San Pedro has thrust itself into contention for the No. 1 seed in the City Section Division I playoffs after improving to 8-0 with a 21-0 win over Carson.
Quarterback Kenny Potter ran for two touchdowns and passed for another. Mike Whitt made several decisive catches and defensive plays at safety. San Pedro takes on Narbonne next week for the Marine League championship.
