West Hills Chaminade quarterback Logan Scott hasn’t made a final college decision, but Princeton, Harvard and Columbia are in the running, and that’s why Coach Ed Croson has been pleased with the performance of Scott. He makes good decisions.

‘It’s not a bad thing to have an Ivy Leaguer,’ Croson said.

Scott has passed for nearly 1,500 yards for the 7-1 Eagles, who are a week away from playing Gardena Serra for the Mission League championship. Scott is also a threat running the ball.

‘He’s been doing all the different things it takes to win,’ Croson said. ‘We have a lot of reads. If this, then that. He makes the right decisions.’
