Football: Garfield wins 77th edition of the East L.A. Classic, 29-15

Los Angeles Garfield running back Lance Hernandez rushed for 162 yards and a season-high four touchdowns while leading the Bulldogs to a 29-15 win against Los Angeles Roosevelt on Friday in the 77th edition of the iconic East L.A. Classic held at East Los Angles College in Monterey Park.

With the win, Garfield (5-5, 5-1 in Eastern League play) clinched a City Section Division I playoff berth.

Roosevelt falls to 5-4 overall, 3-2 in league play.
