Football: City Section won’t play final at Coliseum

The City Section announced on Wednesday that its Division I and II championship games in football will be played at East Los Angeles College on Friday, Dec. 9.

‘We didn’t have funding available,’ assistant commissioner John Aguirre said about failure to have the Division I final at the Coliseum.

The Division II final will take place at 4 p.m. and the Division I final will follow, with the latest start time at 8 p.m.
