No one is more excited on the Woodland Hills El Camino Real football team about playing Crenshaw in Friday’s City Section Division I opener than running back Kawan Rally. He grew up in the Crenshaw district and played youth football with lots of Crenshaw players.

‘I’ve been waiting a long time to play against some old friends,’ he said.

Rally has become El Camino Real’s all-time rushing leader with 4,989 yards. He has been starting since his sophomore year.

His senior season has been his best. He weighed 245 pounds last season and is now at 217, making him much quicker. He has rushed for 2,384 yards and 31 touchdowns.
