Football: Cool weather but hot game on tap

The best opening game of the Pac-5 playoffs should be Bellflower St. John Bosco (7-3) taking on host Mission Hills Alemany (8-2). I’m at the field, it’s cool but all signs point toward the teams heating up from the start.
St. John Bosco played with Servite and Santa Margarita before losing. The Braves have the talent and the offensive firepower to hang with Alemany.
Alemany won the Serra League championship because of its ability to execute fundamentals and make big plays when needed.
It should be an entertaining showdown.
