Football: Huntington Beach defeats Loyola, 31-21

Michael Chislock had two touchdown passes and ran in another as the Oilers (9-2) dominated time of possession and converted on five fourth down attempts to win their Pac-5 Division playoff opener at L.A. Valley College.

Chislock scored the Oilers’ first touchdown on a three-yard run before connecting on touchdown passes of 31 and 69 yards. Chris Ogilvie scored Huntington Beach’s final touchdown late in the fourth quarter following an interception by Cameron Trentini.

Eamon McOsker scored on a 92-yard kickoff return at the start of the second half for Loyola (8-3).

Huntington Beach, which is undefeated on the road this season, likely will play Mission Viejo in the Pac-5 quarterfinals on Nov. 25.
