In case everyone has forgotten, beating a good football team twice in the same year is tough. In the City Setion, there was a run where one team would win the regular season game and then lose in the playoffs.

That happened to Woodland Hills Taft in 2002. The Toreadors destroyed Birmingham, 30-6, in the West Valley League, then lost to Birmingham, 35-7, in the City final.
