Boys’ basketball: St. John Bosco rallies to defeat Windward

Ten games into the season, it’s clear former Taft Coach Derrick Taylor has made an impact at Bellflower St. John Bosco. The Braves improved to 9-1 on Wednesday, rallying to defeat Los Angeles Windward, 71-68, in the Windward tournament.

St. John Bosco will play Gardena Serra in the championship game on Thursday.

Daniel and Isaac Hamilton led St. John Bosco to victory. Daniel had 23 points and Isaac 22 points and 17 rebounds. Kameron Murrell added 16 points. Nick Stover had 23 points for Windward.
