Football: Coaches resign at Bonita, Covina, Wilson, South Hills

The San Gabriel Valley is getting some coaching changes in football.

La Verne Bonita Coach Eric Podley resigned and will be replaced by 27-year-old assistant Adrian Medrano, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. Podley had been coach for 12 years.

At Covina, Darryl Thomas has resigned after 15 years as coach.

At Hacienda Heights Wilson, Bob Burt resigned after taking over the program for one year and will be replaced by assistant Nick Christos.

On Tuesday, Steve Bogan, the head coach at West Covina South Hills since 1994, announced his resignation, along with Matt Koffler of Rosemead. On Wednesday, Ben Negrete resigned at Montebello Schurr.
