One of the hottest teams in the Southland is Pacific Hills, which is 18-3 going into an Alpha League showdown game against host Los Angeles Windward on Tuesday night.

Pacific Hills routed Brentwood, 88-54, on Friday night. Brentwood was without Leland King, who is recovering from a sprained knee. Brandon Taylor scored 31 points and Marcus Jackson had 22.

And Pacific Hills gets back 6-4 sophomore Namon Wright for a nonleague game against Sylmar on Saturday. He has been ineligible until now.

‘They play harder than any team I’ve seen this year,’ Brentwood Coach Ryan Bailey said.
