It was another wild night in the Mission League, and the hero this time was Zach Miller of West Hills Chaminade.

Miller delivered the game-winning basket at the buzzer to give the Eagles a 56-54 win over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. Aadit Patel came up with a steal near the Notre Dame basket, fed the ball downcourt to Miller, who took one dribble and had little time to set up for a shot but made it. Sophomore Jack Williams had 14 points and 15 rebounds.

It was the second time this week that Notre Dame lost at the buzzer. Crespi also beat the Knights, 58-56.

Loyola set up a Monday showdown with Crespi after beating St. Francis, 68-54. Parker Cartwright had 20 points and Julian Harrell 16.

Alemany defeated Harvard-Westlake, 77-67. Marqueze Coleman scored 28 points and Max Guercy added 21 points for Alemany. Zena Edosomwan had 27 points for Harvard-Westlake.

Alemany is 16-3 and 5-1 in league and plays host to Chaminade on Monday and plays at Loyola on Wednesday.
