Burbank went 12-14 last season but returns seven starters in softball, plus has added a group of talented freshmen who are causing Coach Nicole Drabecki to predict that the Bulldogs could have their best team since going 22-3 in 2008.

One big-time freshman is pitcher Caitlyn Brooks, who Drabecki calls a ‘phenom pitcher.’ Infielder Lily Winn and catcher Bridgette Pisa also figure to be major contributors.

Junior outfielder Katie Hooper will lead the team. She batted .539 with nine home runs last season.
