Girls’ basketball: Campbell Hall on verge of title

Campbell Hall is eight minutes away from the CIF championship.

The Vikings have a commanding 54-17 lead over Brentwood with one quarter to play in the Southern Section Division 4A final. Nicole Tolbert has 17 points and fellow seniors Lauren Holiday and Natalia Azad each have 14 for Campbell Hall, which is 11-of-13 from the foul line.

Drew Cabral has seven points and Kennedy Martin has six for the Eagles, who are shooting 19.4% from the field and have made five of 15 free throw attempts.
