Girls’ basketball: CIF finals set to tip off in Anaheim

The first CIF Southern Section champions of the 2011-12 season will soon be crowned, with four games today at the Anaheim Convention Center.

First up, at 3 p.m., will be the Division 4A final between Alpha League rivals Campbell Hall and Brentwood. The top-seeded Vikings (20-6) won both regular season meetings but third-seeded Brentwood (21-8) is riding a five-game winning streak.

Subsequent games are as follows:

Division 3A: #1 Oak Park vs. #3 Bishop Amat, 4:45 p.m.

Division 3AA: #4 Laguna Hills vs. #2 Alemany, 6:30 p.m.

Division 4AA: #1 Windward vs. #7 Serra, 8:15 p.m.
