The second of four championship games today is underway at the Anaheim Convention Center and accurate long-range shooting has given La Puente Bishop Amat a 15-10 lead over Oak Park through one quarter in the Southern Section Division 3A final.

The third-seeded Lancers have connected on 5 of 12 field goals and opened up a 7-0 lead before Oak Park’s Sara Bucknovitz’s three-point play ended the scoreless drought at the 4:26 mark. Five players have at least one basket for Bishop Amat with Kaysee Tayag (five points) leading the way.
