Dominic Davis was a freshman running back at Mission Hills Alemany who played junior varsity football last season, but Coach Dean Herrington can’t wait to see what he does on varsity.

Davis showed off his speed in a dual meet against Chaminade, beating the Eagles’ standout running back, Terrell Newby, with a time of 11.1 seconds in the 100 meters, according to Herrington. Newby did slip at the start.
