Coaches association selects winter coaches of the year

The California Coaches Assn. has selected the winter coaches of the year in the Southern Section. They will become candidates for state coach of the year.

The winners include Lorene Morgan of Long Beach Millikan in girls’ basketball, Tim Tucker of Pasadena in boys’ basketball, Sebastian Alvarado of Oaks Christian in girls’ soccer, Rod Petkovic of Long Beach Millikan in boys’ soccer, Bryan Lynton of Murrieta Valley in girls’ water polo and Randy Campbell of Corona Centennial in wrestling.
