Harvard-Westlake’s defense stopped Loyola on a fourth-and-one situation from the Loyola 48 on Thursday night in the first quarter. Then quarterback Chad Kanoff connected with Julian Shabahang for a 48-yard touchdown play to give the Wolverines a 7-0 lead in an opener at Valley College.
