A bracket from the gym ceiling that holds a speaker fell to the court during Friday’s junior varsity game between host Fairfax and University, causing the officials to halt the game and postpone the varsity game.

Fairfax Coach Harvey Kitani said the Los Angeles Unified School District was sending a person to inspect the speaker, and he expects Saturday’s Fairfax State Preview Classic to be played as scheduled.
