Girls’ basketball: Division III is an all-San Fernando Valley affair

The CIF Southern California Division III girls’ basketball champion is guaranteed to come from the San Fernando Valley.

The semifinals on Tuesday will be Reseda at Mission Hills Alemany and Agoura at West Hills Chaminade.

Reseda is the big surprise. The City Section Division III champions continue to defy tradition and expectations, led by 6-foot-3 rebounding machine Ahlisha Henderson.

Alemany and Chaminade are still favored to meet in what would be an all-Mission League regional final on Saturday at Ontario Colony.
