They’ve got more than just surfers at Malibu High. The baseball team is 14-1 after going 5-0 in their division of the San Diego Lions tournament and winning the championship with a 5-0 semifinal victory over Sweetwater and a 14-0 win over High Tech.

The Sharks came through with some impressive individual performances. Chase Lambert, the junior shortstop-pitcher, struck out 14 in 5 1/3 innings of relief. He also went 13 for 22 with six RBIs, including a five for five performance against Morse.
