Tennis: Gage Brymer seeks historic win at Ojai

Started in 1896, the Ojai Tennis Tournament has something for everybody _ college, pro and high school competition.

It begins on Tuesday, and one of the stars on display will be high school senior Gage Brymer from Irvine University.


He’s a two-time Southern Section individual tennis champion headed to UCLA. He’s trying to become the first three-time Ojai interscholastic champion since Bobby Riggs (1934-36) for a competitition that began in 1899.

His first match is Thursday.
