Volleyball: Mira Costa could be new No. 1 team in Division 1

Manhattan Beach Mira Costa may have earned the No. 1 seed for the Southern Section Division 1 volleyball playoffs after winning the Redondo tournament championship.

No. 1 San Clemente was knocked off by Otay Ranch. Mira Costa defeated Loyola, 26-24, 25-21, and went on to defeat Palos Verdes, 25-18, 25-22, in the championship.
