The head of Ethiopia’s Relief and Rehabilitation Commission thanked international aid donors for helping the famine-stricken nation with emergency food, drugs and other supplies last year. “If we had not received this assistance, millions of people would have died,” Maj. Gen. Dawit Wolde Giorgis told reporters in Addis Ababa.
