Azusa
The city has agreed to issue about $2 million in tax-exempt bonds to help Azusa Pacific University build a five-story dormitory to house 264 students. University officials asked the city to help with financing because high interest rates on the commercial market would make the project infeasible. They said they hope to have the building completed by September.
