An AWOL Camp Pendleton Marine, who was on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list in connection with the Dec. 2, 1978, armed robbery of a Ramona liquor store and attempted murder of the store clerk, was arrested Friday in Beaver Falls, Pa. said an FBI spokesman. Sgt. Vincent J. Russo, 30, was arrested without incident at his home, where he was living under an assumed name with a girlfriend and two children, said the spokesman, Gary N. Penrith. The Stage Stop Liquor Store in Ramona was robbed and the clerk, Dale Scott Eaton, who was 20 years old, was taken at gunpoint to Valley Center, 40 miles from the store, the spokesman said. The assailant then forced Eaton out of thje car, forced him to the ground and wished him a merry Christmas before shooting him five times at point-blank range with a .45-calibre automatic pistol. Eaton survived the attack.
