Jewelry from 10 display cases was stolen early Monday from Kay Jewelers in the La Jolla Village Square shopping mall. San Diego police detective Bob Barack said officers responded to an alarm at the store about 5:30 a.m. and searched the mall with dogs for the burglars. No suspects were found. The value of the stolen property was not released.
