Ferraro to Run Against Bradley

Charging Mayor Tom Bradley with using his office as a “private campaign machine” and of instilling cronyism at City Hall, Councilman John Ferraro officially announced today that he will run for mayor.
“We need leadership that is concerned with solving our city’s problems, not the governor’s race,” Ferraro, 60, said, referring to speculation that Bradley is considering challenging Gov. George Deukmejian in 1986.
