Leonard Nimoy to Receive Star

Leonard Nimoy, best known for portraying the alien Mr. Spock on the television series “Star Trek,” will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Nimoy, who recently starred in Ernest Hemingway’s “The Sun Also Rises,” will be present at the award ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at 6651 Hollywood Blvd. Nimoy’s star will go next to the one dedicated to entertainer Phil Harris.
