BAKERSFIELD —
Disability retirement was approved for a Kern County coroner’s investigator who says he “can’t take any more bodies.”
Ed Bolt, 39, retired this week at 50% of his $33,030 annual salary. After the county Retirement Board ruling, Bolt said he suffers from the “accumulated effect” of stress. “I can’t take any more bodies,” the six-year employee said. “I can’t deal with family grief.”
