Emulex Corp. said Friday that William H. Roberts resigned from his posts as corporate secretary and director of the Costa Mesa-based company to “pursue outside interests.” Roberts was one of the founders of the 5-year-old high-technology manufacturer.
In a statement, Emulex Chairman Fred B. Cox said the “move had been anticipated and would have little impact on current operations of the company.” Cox said Roberts had not participated in the daily operations at Emulex, but rather had been concerned with “longer range opportunities” for the firm.
