American Motors Corp. increased Jeep prices.

AMC said it is boosting the suggested retail prices of its hot-selling Jeeps by an average of $200, or 1.2%. In addition, the prices of optional Jeep engines will increase by $75 to $100, AMC said. Prices of other options remained unchanged. AMC will continue to offer discounts averaging $107, or 1.6%, on Renault Alliance and Encore models.
