Playboy Switching to Stuck-Up Models

Playboy is trading its staple gun for a glue pot, and center-fold models who have suffered punctured navels for the last 30 years can be removed--starting next October--intact, the magazine said today.

The glue will be the first major production change in Playboy’s history, said Nat Lehrman, president of Playboy’s publishing division. The new centerfold will be glued in the magazine at the top of the photo, possibly perforated for easy tearing, and then folded in three sections as it is now, he said.
