Members of a Sacramento-area ring suspected of killing children for “snuff” films also forced youngsters to eat pieces of a rat and tortured them with knives and torches, the San Jose Mercury reported. The newspaper quoted unidentified sources familiar with the investigation as saying they had seen a videotaped police interview with the 10-year-old child of Arthur Dill, the alleged leader of the ring. The child described “satanic sex rituals in which other children may have been murdered on camera,” the Mercury said. Dill, 33, and four other men have been arrested on 165 charges in the child molesting investigation. Sacramento County authorities have said police have evidence showing that the alleged ring made a movie of the killing of children.
