Summer Place Opens Today in Simi Valley

Summer Place, a neighborhood of 180 two- and three-bedroom town houses, opens today at Hunter's Field, Griffin Homes' 70-acre, $75-million master-planned community in Simi Valley.

Among the features are ceramic tile entries, courtyards, patios, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, formal dining rooms and two-car garages with automatic door openers and direct access to the units. Two of the plans also have atriums.

Common amenities include swimming pools, spas and barbecue areas, maintained by a monthly homeowners fee of $95. First move-ins are scheduled in April.

Furnished models and the sales office are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2103 Emory Ave. near Yosemite and Los Angeles avenues.
