Carol Wayne’s ex-husband says he allowed the actress’ body to be cremated after a review of a Mexican autopsy convinced him that her drowning at a seaside resort was accidental. “I was more than satisfied after I read the complete report of the Mexican autopsy and I had the body viewed,” Barry Feinstein said in a telephone interview from New York. “I was definitely satisfied it was accidental drowning.” Wayne, who appeared with Johnny Carson as the sexy but naive “matinee lady” in skits on “The Tonight Show,” was found Jan. 13 in the waters at Manzanillo.
