Glendora

Citrus College is now officially part of Glendora, after a year of annexation proceedings that culminated early this month. The 103-acre community college, which has always been in county territory between Azusa and Glendora, will not increase the city’s population and is not expected to change the city’s tax structure or its expenditures for public services. Citrus College has about 10,000 students and 400 faculty members and serves the cities of Duarte, Monrovia, Azusa and Claremont. Many faculty members, campus employees and students live in Glendora, a college official said.
