J. Robert Fluor II, vice president of corporate relations of Fluor Corp. of Irvine, has been elected a director of Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC). The Washington, D.C.-based BIPAC is a national bipartisan committee created to help elect fiscally responsible candidates to Congress.
Many corporations rely on its political research and candidate support, according to BIPAC officials.
Fluor’s father, the late J. Robert Fluor, was a founder of the political action committee, serving as a regional vice chairman and director for more than 21 years.
