Witt, Sanchez, Sconiers Apply for Arbitration
Three Angel players met the Friday filing deadline for salary arbitration, pitchers Mike Witt and Luis Sanchez, and first baseman Daryl Sconiers.
General Manager Mike Port was not available for comment, but a club spokesman said negotiations were continuing with all three.
Relief pitcher Doug Corbett and catcher Jerry Narron were also eligible for arbitration but did not file. Both are believed to have agreed to terms.
