The Seeley Award is given in memory of the late Roy C. Seeley, founder of the company bearing his name and one of the founders of the society in the early part of World War II.

The chapter said the award is presented to “an outstanding member who has maintained high standards of professionalism, demonstrated honesty and integrity, and commanded the respect of his peers.” Service to the community and the industry is also considered.
