Empire League : Kennedy Defeats Loara With Last-Second Shot

Senior forward Walt Lauderdale’s scored with three seconds left to play Friday night gave visiting Kennedy High School a 46-44 Empire League win over Loara.

The league-leading Irish held the ball for the final 1:10, setting up Lauderdale’s shot. Loara missed a 30-foot shot a the buzzer.

Jeff Green and Phil Galante had 12 points each to lead Kennedy.

Junior forward John Parker led all scorers with 19 points and Damian Porreca added 12 for the Saxons.
