Thai troops killed eight Vietnamese soliders who crossed the border from Cambodia into Thailand, a Thai army commander said. The Vietnamese were apparently on a scouting mission against Cambodian guerrillas. Pichitr Kullavanijaya, commander of Thailand’s 1st Army Region. Three Cambodian guerrilla factions are seeking to oust a Vietnamese-installed government in their country.
