Shuttle Carrying Senator to Be Launched March 3

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. —
The next space shuttle flight, with Sen. Jake Garn (R-Utah) aboard, will be launched on March 3, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration said Thursday. The flight was delayed 11 days by problems with thermal tiles.
