The dedication of Christ College Irvine’s Campus Center Complex will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. The sermon address will be given by Dr. Ralph Bohlmann, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod president.

The $5.2-million complex is the largest single project planned for Christ College; it consists of three separate buildings. Included in the complex are a 70-person capacity snack bar, a bookstore, gymnasium, student lounge and Hallerberg Center. The Hallerberg Center was named in honor of the building’s major donors, Lee and Ann Hallerberg. The Hallerbergs are longtime friends of the college and former residents of Villa Park. Included in the Hallerberg Lounge are the student activities office, a main lounge with fireplace, a game room, television lounge and mailboxes for commuter students.

Several college professors who have authored books will be on hand for an autograph party in the bookstore, among them Dr. Carl Berner, Prof. Robert Baden and visiting Prof. Ben Marxhausen and his wife, Joanne.
