Henry Waechter of Escondido claims that the socks that he’s been purchasing don’t hold up any more. Consequently, he’s been in the market for some old-fashioned men’s garters, single- or double-grip, but without success. No one in men’s stores or department stores has any. H. Ballard of Arleta is looking for someone who can replace a leather seat on a dining room chair. He’s tried several places in his area, but no luck. Can you help, or will Ballard have to work up a lather over his leather replacement before somebody finally gets him seated?
