UC Irvine Women Lose to UNLV, Too

The UC Irvine women’s basketball team faced the only other undefeated team in the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. Saturday, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and the Rebels emerged with a 76-59 victory in Crawford Hall.

The 20th-ranked Rebels (4-0 in the PCAA, 20-4 overall), had a 30-27 halftime lead over UCI (5-1, 17-5). Although Anteater center Cheri Graham had 34 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 3 steals, UNLV had the advantage of a more balanced scoring attack and a 41-30 edge in rebounding.
