Local News in Brief : Tujunga Boy, 12, Dies After Bike Hits Auto
A12-year-old Tujunga boy died Sunday after he steered his bicycle into an oncoming car, police said.
James Rodriguez was riding on the wrong side of the road at the intersection of Valaho Drive and Valmont Avenue at 5:40 p.m. when the collision occurred, according to police. Rodriguez was rushed to St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he died at about 9 p.m.
Traffic investigators found that the driver of the car, a 42-year-old Tujunga man, was not to blame.
