Lockheed Profits

I was outraged by the story (Feb. 6) about the $600 toilet covers purchased from Lockheed by the Navy.

Imagine how I felt when, a few hours later, I read that Lockheed’s sales and profits in the fourth quarter of 1984 were up 35% and 30%, respectively!
