50 UMW Pickets Arrested for Blocking Coal Plant

LOBATA, W.Va. —
Fifty United Mine Workers pickets were arrested Wednesday for blocking a road outside the strikebound Sprouse Creek Processing Co., preventing loaded coal trucks from entering the southern West Virginia plant, police said. No injuries were reported.
